Experimental Building, Virtual laboratory tours



The room B17 and B18 are connected and they serve a large experimental domain. In the side of B18, there are 4 optical tables (2.0m x 1.2m), and two tables of them carry an optical pump source, respectively: one is 1.06 micrometer ns-pulse source consisted of flashlamp pumped Nd:YAG, and another is narrowband wavelength-tubnable ns-pulse source based on OPO-MOPA system pumped by 3rd harmonics of flashlamp pumped Nd:YAG. 


Room B18 contains 3 types of monochrometers, and they have diffraction length of 25 cm, 55cm, and 100 cm, respectively. We can evaluate optical properties of samples within the range from 700 nm to over 10,000 nm by means of the high resolutional spectroscopy with a MCT detector, an IR photomultiplier, InGaAs array detector, an ulbricht sphere, and a blackbody radiation source. If necessary, we can also use the closed type He-cryostat for cryogenic evaluations.
